We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk in Lancaster Pa on a temp to hire basis:
Responsibilities
Enter, update, and maintain financial data in accounting systems with a high level of accuracy.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payment posting, and billing support.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and internal records to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with preparing financial reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities as needed.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to gather information and resolve issues.
Perform general clerical and administrative tasks to support the accounting department.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; coursework or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
1-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
