Our client in Philadelphia is seeking a payroll specialist on a temp to hire basis

Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and contract staff

Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay or benefits

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies regarding wages, taxes, and deductions

Prepare and distribute payroll reports to internal stakeholders

Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax forms

Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with audits as needed

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and resolve issues

Stay current on payroll regulations and best practices
