Medical Billing – Qualification Specialist
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or reauthorizations in a medical or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and managed care plans.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-10 coding.
- Experience using EHR/EMR systems, insurance portals, and billing software.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
