Overview
Our client in North Wales is seeking a Senior Accountant on a temp to perm basis. Specific responsibilities include managing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting accurate reporting. This role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audits and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities

Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Support external audits and regulatory filings

Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and review their work

Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA certification preferred
-
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
