Our client in Pittsburgh is seeking an Accounting System Analyst on a contract basis:
Job Description
- Contribute to the rollout of the new accounting platform by gathering and organizing key financial information, including vendor data, customer account details, and general ledger records, to support accurate data transfer.

Review and test system outputs by checking data mappings, validating converted information, and confirming that results meet operational, financial, and compliance expectations.

Assist the Corporate Accounting team by taking on routine accounting tasks, helping maintain workflow while project activities are underway and ensuring deadlines remain on track.

Provide guidance to finance staff on the use of Oracle and related applications, offering support as they adapt to updated tools and processes.

Help revise and document policies and procedures to reflect changes introduced through the system implementation.

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, MIS, or a closely related discipline.

At least four years of experience working in accounting roles that also involve financial systems.

Strong working knowledge of accounting concepts and financial reporting practices.

Proven ability to analyze information, solve issues, and communicate effectively.
Able to manage tasks independently and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast‑moving environment.
