Our client in Philadelphia is seeking an accounting clerk on a temp to perm basis:
Responsibilities
Record and maintain financial transactions in company systems.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and reconciliations.
Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
Handle data entry, filing, and document management for accounting records.
Respond to internal inquiries regarding invoices, payments, or account balances.
Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills for working with colleagues and vendors.
