Job Title: Payroll Supervisor
Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations and ensure timely, accurate processing of employee compensation. The Payroll Supervisor will lead the payroll team, maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and partner with HR and Finance to support company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Review and approve payroll transactions, reports, and tax filings.

Maintain compliance with wage, hour, and tax laws, as well as company policies.

Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries.

Collaborate with HR and Finance to align payroll practices with business needs.

Identify process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy.

Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports to management.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (preferred).

3-5+ years of payroll experience, with at least 1-2+ years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
