Required Skills:

3+ years of experience as a PMO analyst/coordinator, managing project intake processes, portfolio management tools, workflow automation, and governance frameworks.

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), including intake processes, workflows, forms, routing, and governance.

Experience integrating and supporting Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, and other project management tools within an enterprise environment.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including both Agile and Waterfall frameworks.

Experience supporting project intake, demand management, portfolio governance, and resource capacity planning processes.

Ability to analyze project requests, facilitate prioritization discussions, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Knowledge of system administration best practices, including configuration management, user access management, data governance, and system security.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, IT, finance, legal, procurement, and project management teams.

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

Desired Skills:

Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.

ServiceNow Certifications

Experience working in higher education

Experience building and maintaining dashboards, reports, KPIs, and operational metrics for PMO leadership and stakeholders.

Description of Role/Responsibilities: Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented PMO Analyst to join our higher education client. The Project Analyst/Coordinator supports the organization’s project intake, portfolio governance, and PMO technology platforms, with a primary focus on ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM). This role serves as a key partner to PMO leadership by administering and optimizing project management tools, managing intake workflows, supporting governance and resource planning processes, and maintaining integrations with platforms such as Smartsheet and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate combines strong system administration skills with a solid understanding of project management methodologies and will play a critical role in ensuring PMO tools, reporting, and operational processes effectively support enterprise project delivery and strategic initiatives.
