Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst. This role is responsible for supporting and protecting both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments by implementing cybersecurity best practices, monitoring system security, and assisting with secure network and system design. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Windows, Linux, networking, and OT cybersecurity operations, along with strong communication and documentation skills. Exposure to maritime systems, including communications, bridge operations, propulsion, power management, and access control technologies, is highly desirable. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on securing critical infrastructure and operational systems.
*This pisition is onsite 4 days/week in Miami, FL with one day remote.
Required Skills:
2+ years of experience supporting Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity operations, OT network design, and OT system architecture.
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Familiarity with maritime technologies, including communication systems, bridge systems, propulsion and machinery management systems, power control systems, access control systems, and cargo management platforms, is highly desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Strong organizational, presentation, and technical documentation skills, including experience creating network diagrams, Visio documentation, and detailed “as-built” system documentation.
Ability to balance day-to-day operational support with project-based initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Desired Skills:
Possess certifications such as GICSP, GSOC, GCTI, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials.
Experience supporting large-scale, geographically distributed, or global enterprise environments.
Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
