Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master
Position Overview
This role is a blend of Agile Project Management (60%) and Scrum Master responsibilities (40%) supporting in-house application development projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects through both Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies, leading Agile ceremonies, and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Agile Project Management (60%)
- Manage application development projects from initiation through delivery
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and milestones
- Provide concise executive-level status reports and stakeholder updates
- Track project resources and ensure proper allocation
- Support budget management and resource tracking
- No vendor invoice or PO variance tracking required
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Work effectively with multiple business groups and stakeholders
- Drive projects forward in environments with uncertainty and competing priorities
- Propose and implement process improvements
Scrum Master Responsibilities (40%)
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including:
- Daily standups
- Sprint planning
- Sprint reviews
- Sprint retrospectives
- Maintain and manage Jira boards and dashboards
- Track team metrics and sprint reporting
- Remove roadblocks and support Agile best practices
- Coach teams on Agile principles and frameworks
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of Project Management and Scrum Master experience
- Experience leading projects for in-house application development teams
- Strong understanding of both:
- Agile methodologies (Scrum required, Kanban preferred)
- Traditional Waterfall project management
- Ability to build and manage project plans and schedules
- Experience managing projects with multiple workstreams and moving parts
Certifications
- CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) – Required
Tools & Technologies
- Jira – Required
- SharePoint – Required
- Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet – Required

Preferred Qualifications
Experience
- Information Security project experience
- Information Security PM/Scrum Master background
- Experience with:
- PPM Pro
- ServiceNow PPM
Certifications
- PMP Certification
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Equivalent professional experience accepted (e.g., approximately 9+ years of PM/SM experience)
