POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr Mgr – Shared Services (Order to Cash) is responsible for overseeing a team of Shared Services employees in support of the Order to Cash workstream function across the identified region (e.g. AMERS, EMEA, APAC). Ensures compliance and timely and accurate completion of applicable tasks in accordance with country specific accounting requirements and the approved SOX and COE policies and guidelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage the month-end close process for shared services to ensure deadlines are met and action plans are developed if any deadlines are not met.
- Oversee Regional OtC Team ensuring timely collection of receipts from customers using the FSCM collections tool and ensure delinquent accounts are highlighted and appropriately actioned, including acting as a point of escalation.
- Responsibility for the cash application process ensuring the Team takes prompt action and follow up of queries.
- Ensure usage of the FSCM Credit Management tool as well as approve credit cases to an agreed limit to ensure appropriate limits are in place for each customer to minimize poor credit exposure.
- Engagement with billing teams within divisions and oversight of the billing completed within shared services.
- Manage tax certificates required for different countries to ensure up-to-date copies in place.
- Responsible for setting the standard for shared services performance and continuously monitoring employee performance to ensure it meets or exceeds the standard.
- Execute processes, methods, procedures, and systems, in accordance with CoE strategies, manage work activities and improve overall efficiency of the department functions. Identify and implement opportunities to drive process efficiency and increase automation.
- Leads the transition of new work to shared services from entities that go live on SAP or for new acquisitions.
- Work with Global Process Owner to continue to enhance internal controls and workstream processes and strategies that meet the organization’s goals in a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant environment. Ensure compliance with applicable international regulations.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team members.

QUALIFICATIONS/KEY SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Accountancy certification preferred.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
- 8+ years progressive financial services experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years in a leadership role preferred
- Relevant experience in specific workstream
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management. Change management certification preferred.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in English language (written & verbal)
