The Technical Consultant II is responsible for coordination and execution database focused (SQL Server) project activities during Professional Services engagements, ensuring project success, satisfaction of contractual obligations, and transition of customers into a post-implementation Customer Service program.
Key Activities:
- Participate as required in the Customer Service and IT Management processes.
- Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by adherence to all deliverable dates in project plan.
- Provide accurate and consistent documentation of time expended and progress achieved against assigned activities in the division’s standardized Professional Services Automation platform and other systems as required.
- May provide support to customers after hours and on weekends. Resolve problems efficiently and professionally by applying knowledge of system software, applications and hardware including third party peripherals that affect the functionality and performance of the Company products.
- Respond to the needs and requests of clients, management and staff in a professional manner.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or appropriate experience
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience required in SQL Server, T-SQL development, ETL, API integration and Citrix environments with the ability to navigate SQL Server and proprietary code bases.
- Experience migrating from old to new databases.
- Experience with creating and maintaining reports
- Experience using and troubleshooting API’s.
- Experience with database architecture and knowledge of network architecture.
- Experience leading system and database integration initiatives.
- Must be comfortable in client facing environments.
