A highly respected Midwest law firm with a strong regional and national presence is seeking a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate (2+ years of experience) to join its Columbus office. This firm is known for its sophisticated litigation bench, supportive culture, and collaborative, business-minded approach to dispute resolution.
About the Practice
The litigation team handles high-stakes commercial disputes involving contract claims, business torts, shareholder/partnership conflicts, financial and securities matters, and class actions. The group is routinely recognized in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers/Best Law Firms, and other industry rankings for excellence in trial and appellate advocacy. Matters are often complex, multi-party, and frequently involve cross-office teams.
You’ll work directly with experienced trial partners while taking on meaningful responsibilities early. Associates here routinely take and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, work closely with clients, and gain courtroom exposure-not just document review.

Ideal Candidate

2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting

Strong brief writing and analytical skills

Experience with depositions, hearings, or dispositive motion practice preferred

Ability to manage cases independently and as part of a team

Admission to practice in Ohio (or eligibility to waive in)
