About the Role:
Beacon Hill’s client is looking for a seasoned Human Resources Manager for a strategic contract opportunity supporting a high-impact site in Lenox, Iowa. This is a 6-month assignment with the potential for extension, offering the chance to make a tangible difference in a unique and challenging location. We’re looking for a proven HR leader who can bring both big-picture strategy and hands-on guidance to a dynamic, evolving workplace.
This is an exciting contract role with potential for extension that is fully onsite in Lenox, IA.
What You’ll Do:
As the HR Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing the site’s people strategy while providing guidance and support to junior HR staff. You’ll be a key collaborator in growth planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute strategic HR initiatives that align with organizational priorities and support business objectives
- Champion growth and communication activities that foster alignment, transparency, and engagement across all levels of the site
- Partner with the team to craft and implement talent acquisition strategies that attract top-tier talent to a challenging location
- Provide supplemental leadership support to the broader management team, bringing HR expertise into daily operations
- Mentor and coach junior HR Managers and HRBPs to build internal capability and ensure continuity of leadership
What We’re Looking For:
- 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, including several years in an HR Manager role
- Strong background in both strategic HR planning and day-to-day operational support
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting talent acquisition, change management, leadership development, and internal communications
- Ability to thrive in a remote/rural location and bring structure, leadership, and high-level support to a close-knit site
- Collaborative, adaptable, and skilled in mentoring rising HR talent
