A prestigious higher education institution in Boston is seeking a Temporary Program & Events Assistant to support the Office of the Vice President of Finance in a full-time, temporary role. This 3-month assignment runs from July 28 through October 31, is fully on-site at 25 Buick Street, Boston, and pays $22/hour.
Schedule:
37.5 hours/week (7.5 hours/day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement projects related to program development, publicity, and outreach.
- Support planning and marketing of programs and events such as orientations, career development programs, and internships.
- Conduct research and develop reports and marketing materials.
- Serve as liaison to external partners for specific programs or issues.
- Assist with curriculum development and the administration of program websites and social media platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced professional writing skills; training or change management experience a plus.
- Flexibility in work hours.
- Experience with digital media and graphic design tools preferred.
- Familiarity with university policies a plus.
