Primary Responsibilities:
- Process biweekly and semi-monthly payroll across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
* Perform end-to-end payroll tasks including deductions, garnishments, taxation, off-cycle runs, and year-end processing.
* Manage HRIS integrations, data accuracy, and basic file exchange methods (CSV, EDI, SFTP).
* Respond to payroll inquiries and generate standard and ad-hoc payroll and HR reports.
* Lead onboarding, orientation, benefit enrollment, and exit interview processes.
* Support recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate management, interviews, and offers.
* Maintain employee data integrity, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with confidentiality and record retention guidelines.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, human resources, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years of payroll, HRIS, and general HR experience, including full-cycle payroll processing.
* Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
* Proficiency with HRIS, ATS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information (PII/PHI).
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting business needs.
