Beacon Hill Associates is seeking a Concierge to deliver exceptional front-of-house support and workplace experiences within a professional corporate office environment.
Assignment Details
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch
Pay Rate: $21-$23/hour
Parking: Free onsite parking with garage access provided
Dress Code: Business casual. No jeans, denim-style materials, or sneakers. Branded polo/button-down shirts provided.
Position Summary
The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors while delivering a high level of customer service and workplace support. This role is responsible for front-of-house operations, event coordination, room setup, and administrative support to ensure a seamless workplace experience within a fast-paced corporate environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Front Desk & Guest Services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external visitors
- Manage front-of-house operations and route requests appropriately
- Deliver professional, high-touch customer service to employees, guests, and vendors
Administrative & Operational Support
- Manage the Microsoft Outlook inbox and ensure all inquiries are addressed within required response timelines
- Maintain accurate records of room bookings, space allocations, and event calendars
- Coordinate scheduling and communication with internal teams and vendors
Event & Meeting Coordination
- Plan and execute meeting room and event setups including furniture arrangement, signage, and meeting materials
- Coordinate with catering, audio/visual teams, and property operations to support workplace events and meetings
- Ensure conference rooms and shared spaces are prepared and maintained throughout the day
Facilities & Workplace Support
- Support additional facilities and workplace operations as needed
- Assist with maintaining a professional and organized office environment
- Lift and move event or meeting materials up to 25-50 lbs as part of room setup responsibilities
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-2 years of experience in reception, concierge, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
- 3-5 years of customer service or operational support experience preferred
- Hospitality, catering, or workplace experience strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and technical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch environment
- Professional demeanor with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
