A leading global law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Conflicts Analyst to support its Conflicts Department. This role plays a critical part in evaluating potential business opportunities and ensuring adherence to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Please note this role can be fully remote in the NY Tri-state area (NY, NJ or CT)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process new business intake requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct conflict checks, corporate research, and prepare clearance summaries
  • Analyze client, matter, and organizational data to identify potential conflicts of interest
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and administrative teams to resolve issues and obtain approvals
  • Maintain and update internal systems, including conflict databases and document repositories
  • Support documentation efforts such as engagement letters, guidelines, and waivers
  • Manage confidentiality controls and ethical screening processes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in conflicts, risk, compliance, or legal research in a law firm is required
  • Familiarity with research databases and conflicts management systems (e.g., Intapp or similar tools)
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Additional Details:
  • Fully remote (Tri- State Area Ny, NJ, or CT)
  • Evening shift (1:00 pm – 9:00 pm EST)
  • Competitive salary range: ~$70K-$82K, depending on experience
