Senior Leave Administrator (Contract)
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
Pay Rate: $55-$60/hour (flexibility for highly qualified candidates)
Duration: Approximately 2 months
Start Date: Immediate
Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Senior Leave Administrator for a contract opportunity supporting a busy Benefits team. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between employees, business leaders, and a third-party leave administrator while managing approximately 30 active leave cases.
Responsibilities
- Manage leave cases from intake through return-to-work.
- Partner with a third-party administrator to file and administer employee leaves.
- Track leave status, timelines, payments, and required documentation in Excel.
- Provide employee earnings information to support leave determinations.
- Utilize Workday to manage leave, PTO, and time management activities.
- Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and HR stakeholders throughout the leave process.
- Identify opportunities to improve leave administration processes and system workflows.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience administering a variety of leaves, including:
- FMLA
- Disability
- Workers’ Compensation
- Maternity/Paternity Leave
- ADA Accommodations
- Experience working with third-party leave administrators.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 active leave cases.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate, employee-focused approach.
- Workday experience preferred.
