A growing regional litigation firm is seeking an associate with 2+ years of experience to join its Pittsburgh office. The practice represents major insurers, businesses, and other clients in a broad range of civil defense matters and offers substantial hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative, down-to-earth environment.
What You’ll Do
- Handle a variety of general liability and insurance defense matters
- Manage cases through discovery, motion practice, depositions, and resolution
- Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses
- Take on meaningful responsibility and client-facing work from day one
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of litigation experience
- Experience in a law firm environment with billable-hour requirements
- Insurance defense experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong writing, advocacy, and case management skills
- Active PA bar admission required
- Additional regional bar admissions are a plus
