Responsibilities:
- Process semi-monthly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage HRIS data for new hires, terminations, and employee changes; perform audits to maintain data integrity.
- Communicate with department managers to resolve timekeeping discrepancies and approve timecards.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance filings, including worker’s compensation, 401(k), and quarterly state reports.
- Oversee benefit administration for health, dental, 401(k), FSA, and voluntary plans, including enrollments, terminations, and open enrollments.
- Process and reconcile insurance invoices, payroll deductions, and garnishments.
- Maintain confidential personnel records and ensure timely filing of ACA, L&I, and other compliance reports.
- Provide responsive support to employee payroll and benefit inquiries.
- Participate in payroll and 401(k) audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
