Contract Recruiter
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: Contract through December 2026
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring initiatives within a fast-paced telecommunications environment. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to attract, assess, and hire top talent across a variety of operational, technical, customer support, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate is a proactive talent acquisition professional who thrives in a metrics-driven environment and can effectively manage multiple requisitions while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions, including operations, customer support, technical, field, and corporate roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and drive hiring decisions.
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Track recruiting activity, hiring metrics, and pipeline status to provide regular updates to leadership.
- Create and post compelling job advertisements to attract diverse talent.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional follow-up.
- Support recruiting projects, workforce planning initiatives, and hiring events as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
- Experience recruiting for a variety of professional, operational, technical, or customer-facing positions.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate evaluation skills.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and requisitions simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting telecommunications, technology, customer operations, or field services organizations.
- Experience utilizing recruiting metrics and workforce data to drive hiring decisions.
- Familiarity with Workday, UKG, or similar ATS platforms.
