Our client, a growing organization, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead their HR team and oversee key functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, and workforce development. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to drive strategic HR initiatives while fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required
- 3+ years of human resources experience in a professional setting
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, benefits administration, and HR best practices
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with Paylocity is highly preferred
The Job:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, from talent acquisition to selection
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
- Administer 401(k) plans, including compliance testing and employer contributions
- Develop and implement HR policies, including Employee Handbook updates
- Deliver employee and leadership training programs
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and coordinate updates with insurance providers (e.g., OSHA, Lead-Based Paint)
- Manage workers’ compensation claims and assist with annual audit reporting
- Handle employee relations, including terminations, dispute resolution, and disciplinary actions
- Partner with legal counsel on discrimination complaints and workplace investigations
- Maintain accurate HR records, generate reports, and track key workforce metrics
