Our client, a religious congregation, is seeking a Receptionist in NYC. The hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm; Friday, 9:00 am-4:30 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Answer main phone line, respond to inquiries, transfer calls, manage voicemails, assist callers with questions
- Provide basic information about services, livestreaming, special events, classes, etc.
- Manage the shared email inbox
- Maintain office supply inventory and organize storage spaces
- Coordinate with printing vendor for stationery and envelopes
- Oversee mail operations: maintain postage meter, process incoming and outgoing mail
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years’ customer service experience preferred
- Strong data-entry skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent telephone etiquette, interpersonal skills, and customer service mindset
Compensation:
- Salary range: $50,000-$60,000 per year plus overtime
