Our client, a reputable Media conglomerate, is seeking to hire a Temporary to Permanent Facilities Associate. This role requires someone in office 5 days per week. Hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm with an hour for lunch. This position will start asap!
Responsibilities:
- Help coordinate all activities related to the overall maintenance of the office facilities, equipment, and systems either individually or as part of a team
- Performs daily monitoring and stocking of office kitchens/pantries, copy rooms and conference rooms
- Sort, process and deliver incoming mail and packages. Provide mailroom coverage when needed
- Maintain and distribute inventory of all general office/pantry supplies
- Office and Workstation setups
- Work closely with Corporate Events department in the management of all in-house and third-party events; including the set-up and building support requirements for these events
- Furniture moves and assembly
- Ad hoc projects in support of company initiatives
- Operation of office/pantry/mailroom equipment: including coffee/water machines, printers, postage meters/scanners/etc.
- Accepting and inspection of building inventory, supplies and various deliveries to verify accuracy of deliveries
- Lifting heavy packages
- Special projects/other duties as assigned by the department manager
