Our client, a prestigious educational institution in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to their department for a two-month assignment. This onsite role requires presence five days a week at their Philadelphia location.
About You:
- Previous experience in an administrative or executive assistant role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word).
- Skilled in calendar management, purchasing processes, and organizing documents and records.
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
About the Job:
- Manage and maintain the program event calendar, including scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings.
- Coordinate room reservations and event logistics, including catering, through University systems.
- Track purchasing activity, process invoices, and maintain accurate electronic records.
- Organize and maintain records and application files to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Provide direction and oversight to part-time and student staff.
- Monitor and respond to the department’s email account, phone line, and voicemail messages.
- Provide general office support, including document preparation and internal/external communications.
Our client is seeking a professional with strong organizational skills, ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, and being able to handle multiple priorities as required. This position is onsite five days a week in their Philadelphia, PA location and is paying up to $22 per hour depending on experience.
