Beacon Hill has partnered with an established insurance company in Schaumburg, IL in hiring a Receptionist to start immediately. Our client is seeking a professional, friendly and detail oriented professional to be the first point of contact for the office. This role is essential to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering a positive experience for clients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take accurate messages and route them to the appropriate team member
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling client appointments and maintaining visitor logs
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and office deliveries
- Provide administrative support to office staff, including filing, scanning, and data entry
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Support insurance team with policy paperwork, forms, and general correspondence as needed
- Handle sensitive client information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience (insurance or financial services industry experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
