A well-established medical service provider is seeking an organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning quickly and efficiently. This role focuses on patient scheduling, front desk operations, and administrative support in a calm and professional environment.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Answer and route incoming calls (light call volume-approx. 40 per week).
- Check and return voicemail messages promptly.
- Schedule patients when requested by therapists.
- Verify insurance for new patients via portal or phone.
- Manage incoming/outgoing faxes using eFax.
- Scan and upload documents at request.
- Maintain and restock paper forms and office supplies.
- Retrieve daily mail and scan into Teams for review.
Requirements:
- 1+ year administrative experience in a healthcare environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail when handling patient records, scheduling, and paperwork.
