Our client is seeking a highly strategic and intellectually rigorous Vice President to support the CEO within a global advisory firm. This role sits at the intersection of project management, business development, communications, and executive strategy, requiring exceptional judgment and strong analytical ability. This role requires a true 24/7 mindset and will be in office 3 days per week and work from home 2 days per week, with required flexibility for additional in-office hours based on the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute the CEO’s engagement strategy, including preparing for meetings, industry events, conferences, and curated 1:1 interactions
- Conduct research on prospects, attendees, organizations, and industry associations to inform CEO briefings and follow‑up strategies
- Drive ongoing relationship‑building initiatives, including CRM tracking, warm‑touch plans, specialized dinners, and targeting efforts
- Partner with senior bankers, group heads, marketing, communications, strategy, and external agencies to execute cross‑functional initiatives
- Track and manage follow‑ups, strategic outreach, and engagement pipelines for the CEO
- Recommend new industry associations, events, and opportunities based on performance, CEO bandwidth, and firm goals
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience in project management, consulting, investment banking, communications, IR, or strategy roles
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred (strong academic pedigree valued: Ivy, UVA, UNC, Duke, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize information and produce high‑quality briefings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage cross‑functional workflows and shifting CEO priorities
- Thick‑skinned, resilient, and comfortable working in ambiguity with a fast‑moving, demanding executive
- Executive presence, high EQ, and the ability to build trust with C‑suite leaders and senior stakeholders
Compensation/Benefits:
- Up to $200K-225K base salary
