Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a Part-Time Administrative and Editorial Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Executive Director and team
- Track tasks, projects, and deadlines to support efficient workflows
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and support virtual meetings and events via Zoom
- Serve as a primary point of contact for public and partner inquiries
- Support communications, documentation, and recordkeeping with a focus on accessibility
- Assist with basic financial and operational tasks, including invoices, expenses, and donations
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative or executive support role
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow‑through
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently in a remote environment
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Committed to disability equity and justice; familiarity with disability rights work preferred
- Proficient with office and productivity tools and quick to learn new system
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- Temporary to Permanent
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:30am-3pm
- $25-$28/hr
- Permanent Salary: $55K-$65K
- Location: Washington D.C.
