Boutique hedge fund is seeking a Temporary-to-Permanent Administrative Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for the NYC office. This position requires 5 days on-site from 9am-6pm daily. This is a highly visible, front-facing role ideal for someone who values strong presentation, is proactive, and eager to add a hospitable touch within a highly professional corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet visitors and escort guests as needed
- Answer and direct incoming calls professionally
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
- Set up and maintain conference rooms before and after meetings
- Manage conference room bookings and scheduling
- Order catering for meetings and events
- Print, bind, and prepare meeting materials
- Support the Office Manager with administrative tasks
- Assist with ad hoc office projects and occasional assistant duties, including errands
Ideal Candidate:
- 1+ year of corporate administrative/reception experience
- Professional, polished presentation and communication style
- Strong customer service mindset and phone etiquette
- Comfortable interacting with investors and senior leadership
- Team player with a flexible, “yes” mentality
- Able to navigate strong personalities professionally and calmly
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Compensation/Benefits:
- 60-65K DOE + Paid OT + Bonus
