Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant & Office Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, staff, and incoming calls in a hybrid office environment
- Coordinate office operations including mail, deliveries, conference rooms, and general logistics
- Support meetings, events, and day-to-day office coordination
- Provide administrative support to leadership, including calendar management and scheduling
- Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reporting, and meeting logistics
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding and cross-functional administrative support
About You:
- 3+ years of administrative experience, ideally with office coordination or front desk exposure
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams
- Professional, adaptable, and comfortable in a client-facing role
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to anticipate team and leadership needs
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $25-$26/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Duration: 3-4 months (potential to extend)
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite
