Beacon Hill has partnered with a growing consulting firm in Chicago in hiring an HR Operations Coordinator to start immediately! Our client is seeking someone who is detail-oriented, analytically minded, and eager to learn. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day HR operations across employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
- Maintain and update HRIS with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Audit HR data regularly to ensure completeness, consistency, and compliance
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports on headcount, turnover, hiring metrics, and other HR KPIs
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to HR leadership
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow across systems
- Assist with HR process improvements, documentation, and standardization initiatives
- Support benefits administration, employee records management, and compliance tracking
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR systems, reporting, and processes
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and testing within HRIS platforms
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws across regions
- Translate HR materials or support communications in Spanish or Portuguese as needed
- Contribute to special projects related to HR analytics, reporting automation, and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese required
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or HR analytics support
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Experience with HR reporting, dashboards, and data visualization tools preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
