Beacon Hill has partnered with a growing consulting firm in Chicago in hiring an HR Operations Coordinator to start immediately! Our client is seeking someone who is detail-oriented, analytically minded, and eager to learn. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese.

Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations across employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding)
  • Maintain and update HRIS with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Audit HR data regularly to ensure completeness, consistency, and compliance
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports on headcount, turnover, hiring metrics, and other HR KPIs
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to HR leadership
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow across systems
  • Assist with HR process improvements, documentation, and standardization initiatives
  • Support benefits administration, employee records management, and compliance tracking
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries related to HR systems, reporting, and processes
  • Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and testing within HRIS platforms
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws across regions
  • Translate HR materials or support communications in Spanish or Portuguese as needed
  • Contribute to special projects related to HR analytics, reporting automation, and operational efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese required
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or HR analytics support
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Experience with HR reporting, dashboards, and data visualization tools preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present data clearly
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
