Our client is seeking a polished, high‑energy Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to support a growing national team within a global law firm. This is a client‑facing, project‑driven role focused on supporting business development initiatives, marketing campaigns, and cross‑practice collaboration. The ideal candidate is sharp, personable, and thrives in a fast‑paced, professional services environment. Hours are 9:00am-5:30pm with flexibility as needed. The role is fully onsite five days per week for the first 60 days, then transitions to a hybrid 3/2 schedule. Open to candidates based in NYC or Short Hills, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business development and marketing initiatives across practice groups
- Assist with preparation of client pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, events, and client engagement efforts
- Maintain and update marketing collateral, attorney bios, and website content
- Track and manage data across CRM systems and internal databases
- Support RFPs, directory submissions, and pitch processes
- Assist with marketing campaigns, targeted outreach, and client development efforts
- Coordinate logistics for events, sponsorships, and webinars
- Compile and analyze data to support marketing and business decisions
- Collaborate across teams to support firmwide initiatives
- Maintain strong attention to detail across all communications and materials
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or administrative support
- Experience in professional services (legal, consulting, finance) preferred
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, polished demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Proactive, collaborative, and team‑oriented mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); CRM experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Compensation/Benefits:
- $80,000-$90,000 base salary
