Our client, a mission-driven advocacy organization is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their team on a temporary to permanent in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Serve as the strategic right-hand partner to the President and Executive Director
- Manage a complex, high-volume executive calendar, ensuring priorities, buffer time, and scheduling needs are aligned
- Coordinate extensive travel arrangements, including flights, lodging, transportation, and itineraries
- Prepare executive briefing materials, meeting prep, reports, and correspondence
- Draft and support executive communications, including speeches, remarks, and stakeholder correspondence
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, logistics, agendas, and follow-up notes
- Track action items, deadlines, and key initiatives across multiple workstreams
- Handle highly confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- 8+ years supporting C-suite executives required
- Advanced Outlook calendar management experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong executive functioning skills
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and adapting to last-minute changes
- Nonprofit experience strongly preferred
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $45-$50/hr
- Permanent Salary: $90K-$110K
- Hybrid schedule: 2+ days onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM flexibility required for overtime as needed
