This individual will be responsible for managing and processing payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations. Responsibilities:
– Process payroll for all employees, including timecard review, wage calculations, and deductions
– Maintain and oversee the timekeeping system, ensuring accurate tracking of hours, attendance, and leave balances
– Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including pay statements and tax-related documentation
– Partner with HR and Finance to manage employee data changes such as new hires, terminations, and status updates
– Reconcile payroll data, including taxes and benefit deductions, and resolve discrepancies as needed
– Maintain payroll records, process updates (tax forms, direct deposits), and support audits
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
– 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and administration
– Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices
– Proficiency in payroll systems and ability to quickly learn new software
– Solid analytical and mathematical skills for payroll calculations and reconciliations
