Our client is seeking a Membership Sales Coordinator to support professional associations and nonprofit organizations in growing and retaining membership through strategic outreach, relationship management, and consultative sales.
What You’ll Do
- Drive membership growth by prospecting, nurturing, and converting new members
- Manage a sales pipeline and consistently achieve recruitment and revenue goals
- Conduct outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and events
- Communicate the value of membership through consultative sales conversations
- Build relationships with prospective, current, and lapsed members
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams on recruitment and retention initiatives
- Use Salesforce and CRM tools to track opportunities, forecast revenue, and report results
- Analyze membership trends and identify new growth opportunities
- Represent client organizations at conferences, webinars, and networking events
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in membership sales, business development, account management, customer success, or a related field
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience selling membership programs, subscriptions, or professional services
- Experience engaging executive-level decision-makers
- Experience selling to independent insurance companies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
