This Sr. Specialist, Awards & Rankings role is responsible for managing the firm’s legal directory, rankings, and awards submission processes, ensuring detailed coordination across firm stakeholders. Joining a high-touch team at a respected law firm, you’ll play a visible role in enhancing the firm’s market reputation while partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.
About the Job
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of legal awards, rankings, and directory submissions, including opportunity tracking, deadline management, submission coordination, results reporting, and promotion.
- Serve as the central point of contact for awards and rankings processes, ensuring attorneys and stakeholders provide required content and materials on schedule.
- Partner with Business Development, Communications, Public Relations, and practice group leaders to align submissions with firm messaging, priorities, and market positioning.
- Maintain tracking systems, databases, directory profiles, and historical records to support reporting, future submissions, and process efficiency.
- Research new rankings and awards opportunities, recommend participation strategies, and implement workflow improvements to enhance submission effectiveness.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of public relations, communications, marketing, or journalism experience preferred; law firm experience strongly preferred, including foundational knowledge of legal rankings, awards programs, and industry recognition programs.
- Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience working independently while handling sensitive information, building relationships across teams, and adapting to evolving technology and legal marketing systems.
About the Position
- Salary: $95,000 – $116,000 (DOE)
- Work arrangement: Hybrid schedule of 4x/week on-site
- Collaborate regularly with attorneys, firm leadership, communications professionals, and business development teams in a highly visible role.
