Bilingual HR Specialist (English/Spanish)

Location: Onsite, M-F, 8 AM – 4:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire), Hourly

Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual HR Specialist who is fluent in both English and Spanish to support a growing workforce. This role is ideal for an HR professional with at least one year of experience who is looking to expand their career in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for employees while supporting recruiting and a variety of HR functions.

A critical component of this role is the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish-not just translating words, but accurately conveying context, intent, and professionalism in sensitive workplace conversations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (40-50%)

  1. Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly and professional positions
  2. Source, screen, and interview candidates
  3. Coordinate hiring activities and onboarding processes
  4. Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  5. Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment records

Human Resources Support

  1. Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  2. Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation
  3. Support HR programs, documentation, and compliance activities
  4. Maintain employee records and HR data
  5. Provide bilingual communication support for employees and management

Additional HR Functions

Depending on the candidate’s background and experience, responsibilities may include:

  1. Benefits administration
  2. Safety and compliance initiatives
  3. Performance management support
  4. HR reporting and special projects
  5. General HR administration

Qualifications

Required

  1. Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  2. Ability to communicate and interpret workplace discussions accurately and professionally
  3. Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR, recruiting, employee management, or a related field
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business applications

Preferred

  1. Experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
  2. HR, management, retail leadership, or employee relations experience
  3. Exposure to benefits, safety, performance management, or general HR functions
