Logistics / Order Entry Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process customer purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
- Enter and manage order data within internal business systems using SAP
- Support electronic order processing workflows and ensure timely release of incoming orders
- Coordinate with internal teams to align on shipping requirements and order fulfillment expectations
- Respond to customer and internal team inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
- Provide updates on order status, product availability, and shipment tracking details
- Maintain accurate customer account information, including pricing and order-related data
- Assist with managing EDI-related data and ensuring system accuracy
- Troubleshoot and resolve order-related issues, including shipping discrepancies, billing concerns, and customer inquiries
- Process returns, including defective products and stock adjustments
- Generate and maintain reports such as open orders, sales activity, and shipment documentation
- Support documentation and communication related to order fulfillment and vendor coordination
- Prioritize workload effectively to manage shifting daily demands
- Collaborate with team members to meet departmental goals and service standards
