EE Patent Attorney (3+ Years) – Boutique IP Firm
Our client, a well‑established patent boutique law firm, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Patent Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join its growing practice.
This is a stable, long‑term opportunity with consistent work flowing from a strong base of established clients. The firm offers a reasonable billable hour expectation of 1,700 hours and a collegial, supportive environment.
Practice Focus
- Patent preparation and prosecution in electrical engineering-related technologies
- Exposure to work generated by long‑standing client relationships
- Minimal business development pressure
Qualifications
- JD and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Candidates with Computer Engineering or Computer Science degrees will be considered if comfortable working with EE technologies
- 3+ years of patent prosecution experience (law firm or in‑house)
- USPTO registration required
Location & Flexibility
- Fully remote candidates welcomed
- Preference for candidates within driving distance of the Boston area
- Occasional in‑person meetings with clients and firm colleagues
