Senior Accountant (Financial Reporting) – Hybrid

We’re partnering with a growing financial services organization to add an Senior Accountant to a high-performing, collaborative team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong public/corporate accounting foundation who wants to take ownership of financial reporting, close processes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting
• Prepare and analyze financial results, trends, and variance analysis for leadership
• Assist with regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Coordinate with external auditors and maintain strong documentation and controls
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance and business stakeholders to support decision-making
• Process and manage accounting workflows (including specialized invoicing and reporting activities)
• Perform ad hoc analysis and research to support business initiatives
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve process efficiency, automation, and reporting capabilities
• Contribute to ongoing enhancements in systems, data usage, and analytics

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience; public accounting background strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger, financial statements, and close processes
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) and comfort working with large data sets
• Experience improving processes through automation, systems, or data-driven solutions
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and insights
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across teams
• Exposure to financial services or investment-related concepts is a plus
