Job Description
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days remote (you choose the in-office days).
- Process and reconcile donations, including checks, wires, stock transfers, and credit card payments.
- Track, allocate, and reconcile scholarship funding while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare reports and support audits, compliance requirements, and regulatory filings.
- Maintain spreadsheets and financial data; strong Excel skills required, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
- Work closely with finance leadership, schools, donors, board members, and program stakeholders.
- Support fund tracking, account reconciliations, and resolution of financial discrepancies.
- Coordinate board meetings, committee logistics, communications, and program-related events.
- Associate’s degree required; accounting, finance, business, or related education preferred.
- Competitive hourly pay ($23.77-$29.71/hour), strong benefits package, 403(b) match, generous PTO, and additional holiday time off.
Accounting Knowledge Needed
- Basic Accounting 101 concepts, including debits and credits
- Ability to explain common journal entries and invoice accounting treatment
