SENIOR CONSTRUCTION RECRUITER: DETAILS
Title: Senior Construction Recruiter
Pay: $40-$50/hour
Location: Nashville, TN
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract to Possible Hire
Hours: Monday-Friday | Standard Business Hours | 40 hours per week
Note: This is an onsite position
REQUIREMENTS: SENIOR CONSTRUCTION RECRUITER
* 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience within the construction industry (5-10 years preferred)
* Proven success recruiting for both field and office construction roles
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field preferred
* Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Paycor preferred), LinkedIn, and Indeed
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner across multiple departments
* Strong organization, time management, and follow-up skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
RESPONSIBILITIES: SENIOR CONSTRUCTION RECRUITER
* Manage full-cycle recruiting for construction roles across multiple business lines, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
* Proactively source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and trade partnerships
* Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, superintendents, and foremen; manage logistics and communication throughout the hiring process
* Maintain candidate engagement from initial contact through onboarding, ensuring a positive experience
* Represent the company at job fairs, trade schools, and community events to build a strong talent pipeline
* Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs and develop strategic recruiting plans
* Ensure all recruiting activities are compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws
* Maintain accurate records and data integrity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
* Support onboarding by collecting required documentation and scheduling orientations
* Evaluate and suggest process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting function
