HR Director
Location: Onsite in Westwood, MA (5 days/week)
A client in Westwood, MA, is looking to hire an HR Director who can lead and manage staffing, HR policies & procedures, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, and more, in a high-volume, non-exempt environment.
Some responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement HR policies & procedures
- Lead recruiting strategy to ensure company is fully staffed & employees are retained
- Provide coaching to managers around employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed
- Assess current training offerings and implement new training programs as needed
- Establish strong relationships with company leadership & managers
- Manage benefits administration, including open enrollment
- Oversee OSHA compliance
- Handle Leave of Absence requests and Unemployment/Worker’s Compensation claims
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including managing a team
- Experience working with non-exempt, unionized employees
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Systems savvy with experience working in HRIS and Microsoft Office suite
