Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support IV professional to provide Tier 3 support in a large enterprise environment supporting over 10,000 users. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and assisting with technical project implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 3 support for workstation hardware and software
- Maintain and support operating systems on user workstations
- Troubleshoot and support peripheral devices (printers, scanners, etc.)
- Manage incidents and service requests in a timely manner
- Assist as a technical resource on assigned IT projects
- Collaborate with a team of technicians and project managers
- Support large-scale deployments and system updates
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Tier 3 desktop support
- 5+ years of experience supporting workstation operating systems
- 5+ years of experience in incident and service request management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance support tasks and project work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software packaging tools (SCCM, Ivanti)
- Patch management and imaging experience
- Familiarity with Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Google Workspace experience
Additional Requirements:
- Must currently reside in Wisconsin
- Comfortable working remotely with occasional on-site visits
