Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a prominent St. Louis law firm to identify an experienced Bankruptcy Legal Secretary. This is a great opportunity to support a well-regarded team of bankruptcy and creditor’s rights attorneys in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level administrative support to attorneys focused on bankruptcy and creditor’s rights.

Draft, revise, and proofread bankruptcy documents including petitions, schedules, motions, and correspondence.

File pleadings electronically in federal bankruptcy and district courts (CM/ECF proficiency required).

Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules.

Organize and manage client files, both paper and electronic.

Communicate professionally with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.

Assist with billing and time entry for assigned attorneys.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 3 years of legal secretarial experience, with direct bankruptcy law experience required.

Strong knowledge of Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy procedures and filings.

Familiarity with federal court rules and electronic filing systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.

Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work both independently and as part of a team.
