Personal Injury/ Workers Comp Paralegal

Beacon Hill is hiring an experienced Temporary Personal Injury/Workers’ Compensation Paralegal for an urgent opportunity with a respected law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. This full-time temporary position is expected to last at least six months and requires 40 hours per week.

Location: Wilmington, DE (location with free parking)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week; primarily onsite
Duration: At least 6 months
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys with personal injury and workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, discovery, and settlement materials
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties
• Obtain and review medical records and case-related documentation
• Coordinate hearings, appointments, filings, and case deadlines
• Maintain organized case files and assist with trial and hearing preparation
• Prepare client distributions and handle related administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in personal injury and/or workers’ compensation law
• Strong understanding of case management and legal documentation
• Experience with court filings and litigation support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Neos, iManage, or similar case management systems is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment
