Beacon Hill is hiring an experienced Temporary Personal Injury/Workers’ Compensation Paralegal for an urgent opportunity with a respected law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. This full-time temporary position is expected to last at least six months and requires 40 hours per week.
Location: Wilmington, DE (location with free parking)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week; primarily onsite
Duration: At least 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys with personal injury and workers’ compensation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, discovery, and settlement materials
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties
- Obtain and review medical records and case-related documentation
- Coordinate hearings, appointments, filings, and case deadlines
- Maintain organized case files and assist with trial and hearing preparation
- Prepare client distributions and handle related administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in personal injury and/or workers’ compensation law
- Strong understanding of case management and legal documentation
- Experience with court filings and litigation support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Neos, iManage, or similar case management systems is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment
